Cleaning and Sanitation Procedures during Covid-19 (and we're committed)

Elevated salon experience, with your safety in mind

As part of our commitment to caring for our team and our community, we at Daredevils and Queens have put together an extensive set of safety policies and procedures for our day-to-day operations when we re-opened.

As you can probably imagine, this is a totally new situation not only for us, but for salons around the world.

We are doing our best to create the best possible salon experience for our clients without sacrificing our high safety standards during this time. That said, we understand that these new COVID-19 safety procedures will have an impact on your visit to our hair salon, and so we have carefully laid out the changes here so that you can know what to expect at your next appointment.

Our safety protocols were designed to meet or exceed recommendations from the CDC, state health authorities, and Sonoma County Health Officer. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call the salon!

Before Your Appointment

Not feeling well?

If you or anyone in your home have experienced ANY of the following symptoms within 14 days of your appointment, please give us a call to reschedule your appointment.

We continue to be understanding and kind and will continue to NOT charge a late cancellation fee. Just give us a call/text as soon as you can so we can offer your spot to someone who’s been patiently waiting to see us.

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fever

  • Chills

  • Muscle pain

  • Sore throat

  • New loss of taste or smell

Check-In

To follow state and CDC guidelines, our waiting area is closed at this time. Therefore, please follow these easy steps to make the start of your appointment a breeze:

  1. When you arrive and remain in your vehicle. We will call/text you when your stylist is ready to begin your appointment.

  2. Outside of the salon, we will take your temperature with an infrared touchless thermometer and give you a complimentary disposable mask.

    • Following CDC guidelines, anyone with a temperature of 100.00 or higher will not be allowed into the salon and will be asked to reschedule their service.

    •  Wearing a mask inside the salon is mandatory at all times. If you bring your own, that’s great! Just be sure it loops around the ears, and note that if you're receiving a color service, color may stain your mask.

  3. No beverage service at this time. You may bring your own from home, but please be mindful of others when moving or adjusting your mask.

  4. Come Alone – no friends/partners/children. If you are unable to make other arrangements for your companion(s), you will be asked to reschedule your appointment.

  5. Please only bring what you need, avoid bringing purses, coats, etc.

During Your Service

  1. Our stylists are using every other station to maintain physical distancing. Please help us maintain a 6ft distance between every client and every team member by using the helpful signage on the floor and posted around the salon.

  2. No blowdry services during the first 4 weeks. We love a gorgeous blowout too! But to ensure we have time to sanitize our stations between clients, and to ensure we can see as many of our amazing clients as possible while we try to catch up.

  3. Retail area – its kind of like a museum! Feel free to look, but please let our team help you take products off the shelves.

Check-Out

We will be providing Chairside Checkout!

  1. During your color processing time, or at the end of your haircut service, we will walk you through how to checkout.

  2. At this time, we prefer cards, and also accept cash.

  3. Tipping: To keep our team safe, we prefer tips on the cards if possible.
