Universe Walker Co-Owns Scarlet Salon in Berkeley as well as Knuckeheads & Harlots in Oakland, she travels to NYC every 12 weeks to see clients out of Hairstory Studio and has recently launched her education brand Juxtapos(ed)

She has trained with such names as Vidal Sasoon, Deva, and Sally Rogerson of SReducation-taking all courses offered, including a year-long teacher training program plus several private one on one classes, and has always sought out continued education from colleagues, peers, mentors, and leaders in the industry. in the schools of thought within precision, razor & dry cutting.
Through extensive training and building a book on textured clientele-she has developed her own personal cutting and teaching style. 
At her own business, she is the In house educator, holding classes for her staff and the Bay Area community. 
Universe has built her books on natural texture clients either curly folks, dry cutting, or those wanting to encourage texture through razor cutting.
